3 People Died in Bangladesh bus-pickup collision

Three people have been killed in a collision between buses and trucks in Vanga upazila of Faridpur. At least 10 more were injured during the attack.

The accident took place on the Bangladesh-Barisal highway in the East Sadardi area of ​​the upazila on Tuesday morning. The injured were admitted to the Upazila Health Complex and Faridpur Medical College Hospital. The names of the casualties were not immediately known.

Locals said a truck collided head-on with a bus at around 8.30am on Tuesday morning at the eastern headquarters of Bhanga Upazila. Chandra, who was traveling from Mawa to Madaripur, died on the spot and two others were taken to the hospital in the collision with a truck traveling from Takerhat to Faridpur. Upon receiving the news, broken highway police and fire service personnel carried out rescue work.

Vanga Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (ATC) Ataur Rahman said that after the incident, the bus and truck were left on the road due to the accident. In the process of removing the accidental bus and truck with racer at the scene is in the process. If these are removed, the movement of the vehicles will be normal.
