In the district of North Dinajpur in the state of West Bengal, India, a school teacher has been accused of murdering her mother against her two daughters. Police recovered the dead body of the woman from the roadside in Panchpukur area of Goalpara in Raiganj on Saturday morning. Locals were outraged after the incident. They beat the two girls badly.
Later, the police reached the spot and rescued the accused from the locals' anger. Police are interrogating the two girls after their arrest.
The deceased was identified as Kalpana De Sarkar, a resident of Debinagar Devpuri area of Raiganj. He was the head teacher of East Collegepara Primary School. The woman's husband Ranjit Roy died five years ago. He lived with two daughters.
According to a daily in the country, the injured body of the imaginary was recovered about 7 meters away from the house early Saturday morning.
